Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Tackle HUD ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is a fishing tackle box organizer application for iPhone and iPad developed by BoatGlider, LLC ("BoatGlider"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of the App. By using Tackle HUD, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

We collect no personal data. Tackle HUD is designed as an offline-first application. The App does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email address, or any personally identifying information, and does not transmit any data you enter to BoatGlider's servers.

The following data stays only on your device:

• Tackle box layouts and configurations you create
• Plano EDGE insert assignments
• Custom labels or notes you add to boxes

3. Camera Usage

If you use the Camera Scan feature, your device camera captures images of your open tackle box. These images are processed entirely on-device using Apple's on-device machine learning APIs (Vision framework). No images are uploaded to any server. Camera frames are discarded after processing.

Camera access is requested only when you initiate a scan. You may deny camera permission at any time in iOS Settings without losing access to other features.

4. Analytics and Tracking

Tackle HUD does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking frameworks. We do not use Apple's App Analytics beyond aggregate, anonymized crash reports that Apple automatically collects if you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with developers in iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics.

5. Crash Reporting

If you have opted in to sharing crash data with developers in iOS Settings, Apple may provide us with anonymized crash logs. These logs do not contain any of your personal data or the tackle box data you have entered.

6. Data Sharing

Because we do not collect personal data, we have nothing to share with or sell to third parties. We do not sell data. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

7. Children's Privacy

Tackle HUD does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not collect personal information from any user regardless of age.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

All app data is stored locally on your device using iOS CoreData. You can delete all Tackle HUD data at any time by uninstalling the App from your device. Alternatively, you can reset individual boxes or your entire inventory inside the App.

9. iCloud Backup

Your Tackle HUD data may be included in your iCloud or iTunes/Finder device backup if you have enabled system backups. This is handled entirely by iOS and Apple's backup infrastructure. BoatGlider does not have access to your backups.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
